Chambertin-Clos de Bèze is a grand cru appellation in France, covering 15.3 ha in Gevrey-Chambertin. The rules allow red wine, based on Pinot Noir. Regional bedrock: unconsolidated sediments. It lies 9 km south-west of Chenôve and 11 km south-west of Dijon.
Grand cru adjoining Chambertin to the north. The monks of the Abbey of Bèze planted a vineyard here in the 7th century, which makes it one of the oldest named sites in Burgundy. It may legally be sold as Chambertin, but not the other way round.
